Student Council Members Elected Through Democratic Process
Aurangabad, July 19 – The annual Investiture Ceremony at Maharashtra Public School (MPS) was conducted with great dignity and enthusiasm. The event marked the official induction of the newly elected Student Council, chosen through a democratic voting process, symbolizing the school’s commitment to fostering leadership and responsibility among its students.
The Student Council members for the academic year 2025-26 are as follows:
The House Captains and Vice-Captains of the four houses – Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, and Pearl – also received their badges and were entrusted with their respective duties.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional badge-pinning and oath-taking, where the student leaders pledged to uphold integrity, discipline, and selfless service to the school community.
The President of the School Mr. Ashok Mundhe (Ex. Add. Collector), in his inspiring address, urged the students to shoulder their responsibilities with sincerity. Quoting famous leadership thoughts, he said:
He further reminded the council members, “Wear your badge not as a symbol of authority but as a reminder of the trust your peers have placed in you.”
Addressing the gathering, Head of the School Dr. Jagdish Sharma said,
“We are not merely imparting education; we are shaping tomorrow’s responsible citizens and future leaders of the world.”
The ceremony concluded with applause as the newly inducted leaders vowed to lead by example and contribute towards maintaining discipline, promoting teamwork, and striving for excellence in academics, sports, and cultural activities.
